    Apologies Iam still trying get to grips with this! How do I program a repeater to listen to? Would this interfere with the pre programmed uksn channels?

          Repeater us e to frequency to listen you need the Output Frequency E.G. 145.700

            Just to put a bit of meat on the bones of this discussion, you need to be a licensed radio ham to 'QSO' or transmit and have a conversation on a repeater. You can listen for free but the minute you hit the pressel/PTT button without a license, you can be prosecuted (if they catch you).
